It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future-and each other.
This is the second book/sequel to If I Stay. I would not say you NEED to read If I Stay, but I would recommend it. It helps you get a feel of what is going on. I did enjoy If I Stay. Sure, I did find it kind of boring, but it was good. Now Where She Went on the other hand kind of annoyed me.
Yes, reading Adam's back story helped you understand how he got to the point, but it would cut to his past during points when I was curious to see what was going to happen in the present. I thought his character was different when I read of him in If I Stay, but now I really dislike his character.
In conclusion, I wish that there was less past tense and his character was less egotistical. I did enjoy the book, but I would only give it 3.5-4 stars out of 5.
