Hex Hall

     Sophie Mercer found out she was a witch at a young age. She does a spell that goes wrong and is sent to Hex Hall, a school for supernatural beings. This school is not like a normal high school. You learn how to live as a supernatural, or Prodigium. Sophie goes through many battles at this school ranging from terrible witches, to falling in love, to learning many new things about herself.

     I was kind of wary as I was getting ready to read this book. I have always loved supernatural books that have vampires and witches, but anything with faeries was never my favorite. Then I began reading it and I actually wanted to keep reading. It was different than I expected. After Sophie does a spell that gets her sent to this school, everything spirals down from her.

     I instantly assumed this would be one of those cliche stories where the main girl falls in love with the popular guy and the popular girl hates her. I was right. But, unlike most cliche books, there was a big twist in the end.
 
     I would definitely recommend this to a supernatural lover. The end has pulled me in and I definitely will read the next one.
